Guided Learning Program
Extending Villanova's core values of unitas, veritas, and caritas (unity, truth, and love), the Guided Learning Centre (GLC) provides identified students with necessary supports to help them achieve their potential. Students who are part of the GLC learn and develop strategies to support them in areas such as reading, writing, math, time management, organization, and studying. Students will gradually learn how to become self-sufficient learners who have confidence in their ability to achieve their goals.

Mission Statement
The Student Services Department focuses on providing programs, information, and strategies to help students reach their social, emotional, and academic potential. Through classroom visits, information evenings, individual counselling, and visits from university representatives, students and parents are guided through the postsecondary process.
The VC Experience
The Guided Learning Centre at VC assisted me throughout Middle and Upper School. This program helped me to understand my learning disability and the strategies that work best for me in class. The teachers in the GLC are great; they push you to work hard and really want you to succeed. If it were not for the GLC, I would not be the student that I am today.
